Fam has won several races in the last 3 weeks
Starting with an astonishing solo 13:40 5k @ Big South 5k in NC. He has been using local road races as workout sessions and having a blast along the way. He won a 5k today and ran through the finish line to continue on to run pace for a full 8k workout. He is feeling good and back in the swing.
Fam won the Kasey Khane Foundation 5Kahne 10/14 in Charlotte at the NASCAR hall of fame! His finishing time was a course record 14:21. He was happy with his time having run a 4 mile tempo the night before. Another great race just one week after his 13:55 in Wilmington 10/6.
Nice perks living in race city USA. Come out to the event next year it is great fun for a great cause!

Fam thought he was tough with his pre-race tempo, but Kasey raced a 500 lapper @ Charlotte Motor Speedway up unitl midnight the night before the race!
Fam’s GPS splits of the race

Fam won the Run for the Ta-Tas 5k in Wilmington 10/6/12 in a time of 13:55. That time is the fastest ever road 5k for the state of NC.
The race started with 500+ women getting a 2 min 30 second head start. The male runners had to race through the crowds to catch the lead female for the overall win. See his mile splits the course layout and elevation below.
